Porsche is going to unveil the new version of the mid-engined Boxster RS 60 Spyder Limited Edition roadster at the Bologna Motor Show in Italy on December 5 - 16.
The Boxster RS 60 Spyder is based on the Boxter S model, but has different performance and features.
At the exterior, the RS 60 Spyder features front spoiler, 19-inch diameter Porsche Sport Design alloy wheels a modified sports exhaust system combined with dual tailpipes that increases engine output to 303 bhp. Apart from that, the RS 60 Spyder is fitted with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) which adds further dynamism to the Boxster chassis.
The Boxster RS 60 Spyder is offered in distinctive GT Silver Metallic paintwork with red natural leather interior and red roof. The car is also available in Dark Grey natural leather with a black roof.
At the interior, the RS 60 Spyder features door trim strips made of stainless steel with the “RS 60 Spyder” model designation, textured surface on the center sections of the sports seats and the center door linings as well as on the steering wheel rim and handbrake lever and also it is fitted with bespoke gear lever.
The faces of the instrument dials, the center console, the seat backrests, seat belts and the roll hoops all finished in GT Silver Metallic.
The Boxster RS 60 Spyder is limited to 1,960 units only and will be priced at Euro 63,873 in Germany and will be launch worldwide in March 2008.
